  • Push Through the Sidewalk!

    Todays Adventure has been quiet. Walking in the woods, taking pictures of beautiful things, talking to my loved ones, helping with daily tasks.

    Researching, planning, getting things prepared for the next chapter. I am a creative, and that part of me never stops designing and creating! It won’t matter what goes on in life, I will be redirecting to being productive and making things happen… eventually.

    This is a new beginning and life is beautiful. God is sovereign. No matter what we think may have gone wrong, God was growing us and guiding us in the way He wanted us to grow. Just like the tree stuck in the middle of the sidewalk in the middle of a big city. It WILL still grow! Right through the sidewalk! It will push its way up and to the sun! It will be stronger than some of the other trees that had an easy beginning.

    You will too. Resilience is what grows from our struggles. Things in this life were never promised to be easy, they are just what they are. We become tough, strong, and resilient by going through them. Especially when that storm was not part of our plan or map we had mapped out!

    But keep going! Do a re-set! Challenge yourself to be strong and to push yourself even more. After a re-set of course.

    Life does reach a new normal after storms. We get our feet back under us. We are able to hold ourselves up with help from our tribe of course. And if you don’t have a tribe yet, you will. You can grow that as well. Slowly, but surely.

    Keep pushing!

    That sidewalk will bend.

  • Sarah’s Crafty Corner

    Life changes. Art Grows!

    Starting in August, I will officially have some of my whimiscal art in The Crafty Nook in Texarkana, TX!  (You can find them on Facebook.)  I have been working my art for many years, and this is such a blessing to begin this chapter of my future!

    I am very excited to partner with such a wonderful company.  They have lessons and exibits and many other talented vendors in their store.

    Today we worked on getting things packaged up and ready!  it is very exciting. 

    I am offering packages of fodder, embellishments for your paper art. Junk journals and book journals, etc.

    My fodder is my most favorite part of this endeavor. It is cheerful and it brings me joy to make it!  I believe it will bring a smile to others and I am so thankful to finally have an outlet to share this with others.

    When I got a batch of it all out to package up, I couldn’t help but take some photos!  It is very exciting to have so many to look at! 

    This is not the whole selection, but just a portion!  And there is so much more to come!  I have found my passion for art again!

    It is such a blessing to feel so alive. If you have a passion, never give up on it.  Keep it alive and let it grow deep inside of you. Then one day it will come to fruition.

  • Long Into June

    Well, June is nearly over. So much has taken place since March. It has been a whirlwind. Life changes, location changes, status changes, family transformations.

    There have been no more markets for Wildly Artistic Crochet. Left Handed Videos are on the YouTube!! So if you are left handed and want to learn! Please check these out!

    Lots of things. Journals and Activity books! Videos coming soon so you can see these better.

    I’m thinking of productivity downloads to offer. I have my favorites, but just need to take the time to offer these to you! So new FREE downloads are on the way! Keep an eye out!

    Wildly Artistic Crochet is very behind on making hats for donation this year! So my hook and I will be getting very busy! 1.3K views on the latest short of a beanie, so that is exciting!! They are a favorite!

  • First Spring Market!

    It was a cold and windy day on a sweet little farm in Maud, Texas. All the vendors were set up with anticipation of strolling lookers and friendly folks to talk to.

    Little bunnies, chicks, ducks, and puppies to get all the oohs and ahhhs, and cuddles. All the little children happy to see friendly pups that the vendors have with them.

    Introverts and Extroverts all together on this beautiful day just waiting for the sun to peep out and make an appearance! It did randomly a few times. But it was mostly just cold and the wind made more appearances than the sun!

    We all laughed, smiled, chatted and learned about one another. It was relaxing and peaceful on that little farm. Mostly a slow day, but a good start to the Market Season coming. A few pics below.

  • Happy Winter

    Happy January.

    Here in Texas, we dont get much of true winter weather.  When we do it definitely reminds us of how blessed we are. This winter I was especially reminded of how big God is and how much he takes care of us. All these birds and the squirrels all eating together.  Side by side. When normally these larger birds wouldn’t want to share with the little birds.

    We did put seed out for them but now that it is slightly melting in the woods, all the critters and finding what they need basically side by side.

    It is a beautiful sight. Beautiful entertainment for these winter days. We are “snowed in” and we get to watch nature right outside our windows!

    This can be just like when you look at a field of wild flowers and see weeds or flowers. I see a field of gorgeous scenery.  I know that underneath the snow and ice is fresh seed and life for spring.  Come spring this field will be flourishing and feeding all the wildlife. We have deer, rabbits, foxes, coyotes,  and more!  And on this bitterly cold day, I think of spring! And life! Gods provision for all His little creatures.  How much more will he take care of us!

    Stay warm through the winter!

    This will probably be our only white weather time!

  • November 2025 Newsletter

    Hey Y’all! It’s that time again! The second Saturday! Crochet Group time! This is our last one for the year. The holidays are coming quite fast! They are upon us.

    I am looking forward to meeting one more time before the Holidays! I hope you ladies make it this week!

    Seeing what projects you are working on!

    I am proud to announce that this month was the month I was able to team up with a friend and her mission for our local area. She is an icon with her street ministry. She has made many friends and maintains friendships with these folks who have less than all of us. She gives them simple necessities, along with a smile and especially Jesus! These folks love to see her coming. (or so I can imagine they do!) Click for her webpage

    We have a funeral and missionary coming in this weekend.
